Revolution

A revolution just took place in the woods
The hands of some trees decided in a session
That everybody can dance above the leaves
And everybody may be intimate with whom they like

They said that there's no need for color or rhyme
As long as in just one day all the seasons can collide
Without leaving any trace of tears alongside...
So everybody's wearing combinations of black and white

Now, the oak can fall in love with any nice neighbor
And, since the revolution extended in the big city,
The apricot's allowed to love that sweet cheery
And the plum's expecting the undeclared love of a nut.
